Imaging Systems Technology (IST) is an electronics firm that specializes in flat panel displays and related devices. IST has strong capability in AC plasma display design, development, and analysis. Members of the IST team have worked in plasma displays for over 30 years tracing their roots back to Owens Illinois and the first plasma displays. Collectively and individually IST has worked on many designs, products, and services in the area of imaging and display technology including product tear downs, analysis and correction of false contour and motion artifacts, and the development of custom test equipment. IST has also developed a line of large area touch screens which includes the world's largest.

Carol Wedding, President/Principle R&D Investigator
She is an electrical engineer with over 15 years experience in plasma display technology. She has managed or participated in the design of over 50 display projects including some of the world's largest plasma displays and first color plasma displays. She has written numerous technical papers, participated in display related committees, and is the inventor on key electronic and Plasma-sphere related patents pertaining to the current R&D.
Don Wedding, Advisor/Patent Council
For over 30 years he has been active in the development of AC Plasma displays. He did much of the early patent work in plasma displays for Owens Illinois in the early 1970's. He has filed over 500 plasma display patents. In 1987, he simultaneously founded two firms for research, development and manufacture of large high definition displays for the Department of Defense. Under his direction, theses companies have received over 200 contracts with the United States Government and have done over $200 million in business.
Oliver M. Strbik III, Project Manager
Joined IST in 2003 to develop the Plasma-sphere display production process. He is a graduate of the University of Akron and a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Ohio, with years of professional experience as project manager and senior mechanical/process engineer. His total experience encompasses a broad spectrum of projects including aerospace, jewelry, tire and consumer/industrial products. His strong background in industrial process and equipment design brings a diverse technical perspective to the Plasma-sphere team, thus helping the team to think outside the box. Current Plasma-sphere project accomplishments include developing a process for manufacturing micro spheres, inspection stations and large format assembly methods.
